What attracted you to the property ? We were originally attracted to the house by its quiet location, yet still being very close to amenities. After living in a built up town we were after a greener and more relaxed environment. The train station is 1.5 miles away travelling directly into London. The rear of the house has no overlooking neighbours and looks out onto trees. We get lovely sunshine in the garden throughout the day. It is on a corner plot offering a large driveway opportunity. The garden is large. We were looking for a semi-detached house and the floor plan is large for a semi. We were aware of the large loft for later down the line. It is very quiet here, often only hearing the sounds of nature The local shops are 5 minutes away and East Grinstead high street is within walking distance. We have a good number of supermarkets close by. The M23 and M25 motorways and not too far which has been very convenient for commuting. The bus service is also very good. We have lovely neighbours. All of the neighbours closest to us all lived here way before we arrived and are still here.What attracted you to the property ?

Situated on the north side of East Grinstead, ideally placed for reaching the centre of this thriving market town, with an array of shops, a cinema, a leisure centre and railway station. There are many leisure activities available locally, including local clubs for football, rugby, cricket and theatre; across Sussex, activities include show jumping at Hickstead, sailing at Ardingly and golf at one of the many courses across the county. The surrounding countryside offers miles of footpaths and bridleways. Spa and country house hotels include South Lodge, Ockenden Manor, and Alexander House. Sussex offers a vibrant cultural scene, with world-class opera at Glyndebourne, and the annual Brighton Festival presenting a huge programme of theatre, dance, classical music and literary events. Transport: East Grinstead station is approximately 1.5 miles distant, offering frequent services to London Victoria, with a journey time from 56 minutes. Three Bridges (6.5 miles) offers regular fast trains to Central London, journey time from 40 minutes. To the west, the A23/M23 gives access to Gatwick airport (eight miles), central London (30 miles) and the south coast.
